Digital sovereignty

Challenge
In 2010, most of the technology systems behind Angola's strategic state functions were run by foreign companies, with no digital sovereignty and no local capacity to respond.
Approach
I founded 3GS to prove it was possible to design, build, and operate critical systems entirely with Angolan capital, law, and technology, starting with e-government solutions for public institutions.
Result
16 years on, 3GS runs critical state systems, including Angola's Integrated Foreign Trade Management System, through which every licence for imports, exports, and re-exports in the country passes, alongside proprietary document management and activity licensing solutions.

Challenge
Angola, like much of the African continent, faces a structural housing shortage. Building needed to be faster, cheaper, and higher quality, without relying on traditional methods or imported materials.
Approach
I founded Power2Build to bring 3D concrete printing to construction in Angola, the first company of its kind in the country. We adapted the technology to use exclusively local materials: sand, gravel, water, and cement, securing production sovereignty from the very first printed house.
Result
We printed the world's first house in real concrete using this technology, 56 m2 in 48 hours. Today we print up to 100 m2 a day, a 4.5x productivity gain. We now build faster than any other company in Angola.
